Ride
Log your commute with one tap. Metrove notes every station you pass, even with your phone locked, and draws the trip in your look.

Now in public beta
Watch every subway train in New York, Boston and the Bay Area move in real time, on a map you'll want to leave open. Then ride to earn tokens, and build a model railway of your own.
Free while in beta. iPhone, iOS 18 or later.
A star chart. An old printed map. A glowing circuit board. A plaster relief with glass marbles. A toy railway. Or the classic LED board it all started from. The same live trains, whichever you choose.

And on your Home Screen: widgets in every look, with the trains near you or near a station you pin.
Metrove turns the trips you already take into a railway of your own.
1
Log your commute with one tap. Metrove notes every station you pass, even with your phone locked, and draws the trip in your look.

2
Every new station pays 25 tokens and every stop you log 5 more. Check in each day, finish the daily missions (walk 5,000 steps, visit a station), and keep a 30-day streak for pieces you can't buy.

3
Spend tokens on track, trains, buildings and animals. New scenery takes a few days of riding; a new train, a week or two. Worth every stop.

Trains run their loops, windmills turn and townspeople stroll, by day and by night. Mirror stations send a train out when the real one leaves. And your railway earns its own takings every day.

Sample boards, built from the same kit you unlock, on frames from pine to titanium.
Made for iPhone Duo
Turn your phone sideways and the whole screen is for building: your town on one side, every piece on the other. Hold a piece and carry it where you want it. Unfolded on iPhone Duo, there's room for both.
At a station, it glows on the board: stamp it once a day. Come back on more days for bolder marks, all the way up to a landmark.

Add friends by code and race each week for the most stamps, steps and tokens. Send hearts, and spend the ones you get in the friendship shop. Your card is only shared if you choose to share it.

As useful on the platform as it is lovely on the couch.

Tap any station for its next trains each way, live from the transit agency.

Tap a train and the board rides along with it, its next stops and times below.
A logged commute shows live on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with a stop button. Start one from Control Center, the Action button or Siri.
In StandBy, a charging iPhone turns into a little bedside board.
Find any station by name, jump to your home station in one tap, and use it all with VoiceOver and larger text.

BART across the bay, and Muni Metro's J, K, L, M, N and T. Muni Metro is shown without live trains for now.
The map is beautiful from day one, and every ride makes your railway grow. It's free while in beta. The public TestFlight link opens soon: ask for an invite and you'll get it first.
